Saladero Lodge is a water-access only ecolodge featuring modest-priced private lodging in one of two homes, either the water front, expansive, open-air beach house that will sleep up to six, or the ocean-view, jungle tree house bungalow that is ideal for a couple. This fully alternative-energy powered lodge is about as remote as you can get in the Golfo Dulce region. It is located near the Rio Esquinas river mouth and includes over 400 acres of primary rain forest that extends from the placid waters of the tranquil gulf to the Piedras Blancas National Park. Enjoy a wide variety of nature tours, spectacular inshore fishing, bird watching, sea and mangrove kayaking, and coming soon the Original Canopy Tour. Fly into either Puerto Jimenez or Golfito, and we can come and pick you up in one of our facility skiffs. You have full run of the house, or camp on our manicured facility gardens that bound the shoreline.
Rates are based on double occupancy and include taxes. Private chef and transfers extra.
