The elegant and well-anointed Esquinas Rainforest Lodge is Austrian-owned and operated.  Developed under a sustainable ecotourism grant by the government of Austria in 1994, this all-inclusive destination boasts 14 bungalows nestled in the forest adjacent to the placid shores of the Golfo Dulce, all outfitted with power, hot water, and comfortable furnishings.  The expansive common area includes lounging space, a restaurant, a bar, and a library.  There is a chemical-free swimming pool and ten miles of well-maintained and market facility trails for rain forest exploration.  Unlike most Golfo Dulce destinations, Esquinas Rainforest Lodge can be reached by car and is a short 20 minute drive from the Golfito airport.
