Located in the tiny hamlet of Guadalupe, an eight-minute drive from La Palma, Danta Corcovado Lodge is an ideal destination in its own right. However, it is located less than one mile from the trailhead that leads up the Rincon River to both Corcovado National Park as well as the Guaymí Indian Reservation, so it makes an ideal overnight destination either going to or coming from either of these spectacular Osa destinations. Lodging at Danta Lodge ranges from budget lodging with shared bathrooms for $35 per person to private bungalows for $70 with taxes, breakfast, and dinner included. Tent platforms also available for $10. The Danta Lodge staff offers a wide host of local tours and has a large number of trail horses for horseback tours in the area and also to get park hikers to the Corcovado boundary without having to get wet on the numerous river crossings required to reach the Los Patos trailhead. Per person rates, includes breakfast and taxes, based on double occupancy
