Revelers came from far and wide to join Phil and Kim in a giant wedding celebration held at Bosque del Cabo. Guests included luminaries from the Osa Peninsula, the United States, Canada, and other far-flung origins, all gathered on an immaculate summertime Saturday afternoon for an elegant ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean from the manicured heights of Phil and Kim’s sumptuous digs at Bosque del Cabo.
Live music included the enchantment of José Cirilo’s guitar and the salsa and cumbia of the Villalobos brothers combo Los Mineros. While relatives of the bride catered snacks ranging from tequila-flavored shrimp to smoked camembert cheese and lobster dip, the guests toasted the newlyweds with flowing champagne backed by kegs of beer and tiki booze bars scattered across the lawn, the kitchen staff put together a banquet style buffet overflowing with more delicacies than a Ramadan Wrap-Up in downtown Riyad.
Congratulations to Phil and Kim, and thank you both for hosting such a spectacular gala celebration. Clearly, with such a party precedent established so early in the season, it will be a hard one to out-do, but we Osa Pen party aficionados are all eager to give the next one a whirl and encourage all of you potential merry-makers and partysan faithful out there to, well, stroke it, STROKE IT! If you thow it, we shall surely come.
